Investment

All custom collaborations require a minimum investment of $2800 regardless of the number of pieces needed.

The average Carta Plena couples invest between $5000 - $8000 in their complete custom stationery, ranging from save-the-date to invitation suites with rsvp, detail cards, to day-of accessories.


We offer payment plans for projects above $3000. Please inquire.

 

 
 
 
 

The process

We listen carefully, we elaborate their message and translate the nuances of their story, vision, and wishes into refined designs that are thoughtfully researched and expertly executed.

 
 

1/ discovery

We will work closely with you to guide you through a fine-tuned process that uncovers nuances of your story as a couple and details of your wedding theme that will serve as inspiration for your unique invitations. By harnessing your distinctive qualities and personal aesthetic, we will be able to craft a distinctive and evocative layout for your wedding ephemera that is representative of your style and cohesive with your wedding theme.

 

2/ design

The design process starts with a comprehensive brief and a design board highlighting the aesthetics, inspiration, and details for your project. We will begin by developing the initial design concepts and will work through fonts, colors, paper choices and print methods together during the revisions. Upon approval, we will fine tune each piece of your stationery suite and prepare the file for print production.

 

3/ deliver

Once we receive your invitations from our trusted printers, we will inspect each and every card and make sure everything is assembled and carefully packaged to be delivered to you securely and flawlessly.

how to order

We only work with a limited number of bespoke clients each year to ensure the exclusivity our clients deserve.

 

1/ inquiry & consultation

All inquiries start with a discovery questionnaire to collect the initial information required.  Upon completing the form, we will schedule a 20-minute discovery call to discuss the project scope and timeline (or connect via email if that is preferred).

 

2/ timeline & project proposal

3/ reservation & booking

If you decide to move forward after reviewing the quote, we will issue an invoice for a retainer of 50% and a contract to be signed. Fulfilling the invoice and contract will secure our availability for the project.

 

4/ final payment & next steps

In the weeks approaching your reservation, we will invoice for the remaining portion of your quote and start collecting the information needed to start the project We will work together to determine the wording, text, addresses and more. We will supply you with wording examples, spreadsheets for addresses and content forms to guide you in the creation of the text for your stationery.

Features

When commissioning your bespoke experience, we use (almost) exclusively specialty printing methods (letterpress, foil stamping, embossing and offset) to bring the designs to life. We will make suggestions based on your aesthetic style, project details, and budget.  

Our materials are selected from our library of premium papers and envelopes to present you with a range of options and possibilities. We will discuss finishes, colors, paperweights, and more, to ensure that the paper selections are ideal and cohesive with your project.

Timeline

The entire process usually takes between 3 to 5+ months from the initial inquiry to the time that your invitations will be ready to mail.

When to Order

We book our projects on the first-come-first-serve basis and only work with a limited number of bespoke clients each year to ensure the exclusivity our clients deserve.

To secure your spot in our calendar,  we recommend you to book your invitations at least 8 months before your wedding date.
