STUDIO/PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Part-Time - Portland, OR

Carta Plena Design is looking for a studio/production assistant to help mostly in the production and pre-delivery phase. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a wide range of tasks.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic executor, is comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and has the ability to understand and respect deadlines. Being organized, meticulous, and self-motivated are top priorities.

Details

• Local to Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA metro area

• Able to work in our SE Portland studio at least 2 days/week

• 8 - 10/hours per week to start
  The exact hours and schedules are projects dependent and demand a certain amount of flexibility on your part

Tasks

• Handling production assembly

• Assisting with project management

• Assisting with ordering products and materials

• Deliveries and ad-hoc

Qualifications

• Meticulous, detailed-oriented, and service-minded 

• Excellent organizational skills 

• Able to learn and adapt quickly

• Professional and friendly demeanor

• Multi-tasker who can easily prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Eye for design and enjoys the creative process

• Understands the importance of deadlines

• Well-versed in design

• Eye for typography and color composition

• Photography skills and photo styling experience

• Insatiable curiosity for technology and new products

• Knowledge of Adobe software is a plus

• Access to a vehicle preferred
